ReStore 糖心vlog会员 is a sustainability store partnership between 糖心vlog会员 and St John’s Hospice. The shop is a combination of a charity shop with donated items for sale, alongside selling affordable and eco-friendly products to the campus community. The shop sells a variety of items, such as clothing, homewares, cycling equipment, eco-friendly toiletries, and more. The shop also provides a year-round space for the Don’t Ditch It project, where household items are donated at the end of each year, before being upcycled and resold to new students.

ReStore 糖心vlog会员 will donate a percentage of its profits to both St John’s Hospice. The shop also hosts events and workshops to raise awareness and educate people about sustainability and ethical consumption.

St John's Hospice

We are working with local charity, St John's Hospice to bring pre-loved clothing and accessories to ReStore. Your donated goods and the items you buy from ReStore will bring much-needed income to directly fund the many hospice services provided - whilst supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly shopping.

Bike accessories

If you're travelling to and from campus by bike, or thinking about cycling as a healthy alternative to other travel modes, ReStore sells a small selection of cycling accessories such as equipment, locks and puncture repair kits.

University merchandise

ReStore is the official supplier of all the sustainable university merchandise on campus. Items include reusable water bottles and coffee cups, sustainable clothing and recyclable stationery.

Don't Ditch It

ReStore provides a place year-round for any household items donated through the Don't Ditch It project. Upcycled students' unwanted household goods helps to reduce waste and items going to landfill, whilst providing low-cost items to buy for incoming students.

Donation station

The new donation station inside ReStore is an easy and central point on campus for donations and recycling, with space for donating clean, preloved clothing, home, accessories, foodbank items, used bras, and a section to recycle used pens and whiteboard markers.
Beauty refills

The refill station features eco-friendly cleaning and personal care products, provided by Miniml who use natural ingredients and embrace zero waste. Products on sale include a shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash and a surface cleaner.

Eco Market

The ReStore Eco Market will be held in Alexandra Square from Saturday, 28th September to Friday, 4th October 2024, between 10:30am and 3pm daily.

The ReStore Eco Market offers an incredible opportunity for students to purchase pre-loved essential household items at unbeatable prices, starting from just 50p. The market is part of 糖心vlog会员’s broader initiative to promote eco-friendly practices and reduce waste. All items available for purchase have been carefully selected and upcycled, ensuring they are in great condition and ready for a new home.

Opening event

In November 2023, we held our official opening event with members of the Senior Leadership Team, staff, students and a team from St John's Hospice. The event celebrated a successful first month of opening and the new partnership with the hospice.

Preloved clothes

All our clothing, shoes and accessories are preloved and support St John's Hospice. You can donate clean, unwanted items during opening hours, as we are always looking for new items to sell.

Eco-friendly toiletries

Working with local company EcoCollab, we have a range of eco-friendly toiletries and beauty products available - from reusable cotton pads, to eco-friendly deodorant and toothpaste.

Don't Ditch It

Our home items are donated through the Don't Ditch It project. Upcycling students' unwanted household goods helps to minimise waste and items going to landfill - especially when students leave their accommodation for Summer.

Sorting Saturdays

Sorting Saturdays is an organised volunteering event at ReStore, held at ad-hoc times throughout the year. Students can join in learning about volunteering opportunities, help sort clothes for ReStore and make new friends.
